Just A Reminder

To ensure that you do not get into any avoidable trouble, please try to do these things before every common test.

Try to bring a ziplock bag as your pencil case for the four tests or bring a transparent bag. 

Check that you have at least 3 pens with the same ink before each test.

Use only a pen when writing answers during the common test.
Sharpen pencils in case you need to draw graphs.
Get the SST approved sticker for you dictionary and calculator if you do not have one.

Revision
English: Go through English file.
Chinese: Make sure that you are clear of every point on the checklist which is on PBworks
Math: Go through the Math file and the notebook that you used to record what Mr Desmond taught during class
Science: Go through both of the files.

Lastly, study hard but do not over stress yourself and get enough sleep. :)

All students will gather in the MPH for morning assembly on Monday, 28 April to Wednesday 30 April 2014.

Secondary 1 & Secondary 2 students will return to class for lessons after morning assembly;

Secondary 3 & Secondary 4 students will stay in the MPH until they are lead to the ISH at 09:05 by the Presiding Examiners.

The details are as follow:

Date: 29 April, Tuesday

Time: 1.45 pm - 2.45 pm

Venue: Auditorium

As the mock examination will commence on time, you are expected to report to the venue at least 5 minutes earlier.

Attendance is compulsory for all students. 

There is a slight change for math common test

Instead of 1 hour, you are given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the paper. Also, you are to note that you will be tested on the following topics:

SST House Election (Updated) & GCP Trips

SST House Elections will take place on 21 April, Monday, at 2pm in various venues. The entire student population will be involved. It is expected to end by 3pm. The students in Sec 1 and Sec 2 classes will go to the respective venues after CE Period at 2pm and have to attend the elections.  Sec 3 and Sec 4 classes will go at the start of their CE period. TDP and remedial will resume after the elections. The venues for House Elections are:

I am down with a throat infection and would appreciate it if you could do the following activity in my absence:

Vocabulary Building Activity
1) Disseminate the latest copy of iThink that is on the Teacher's table I believe.
2) Turn to page 11 where there's an article on online gaming.
3) Select a minimum of ten words (and sentences where you found them) that you will include is your vocabulary book.  Do not choose words where the meanings have been found for you.
4) Go online and look for suitable meanings for these words, paying close attention to the word form and context as discussed before.

Please complete this by the end of the lesson.
